Description
The IE-4 is an economic scale for recording the psychological characteristic of control conviction according to Rotter (1966). The scale is easy to administer in different survey modes. The documented findings indicate the psychometric quality of the IE-4. The application of the IE-4 in surveys in social sciences to measure locus of control in adult respondents of the German-speaking general population can therefore be recommended.
