Description

The short scale L-1 for recording general life satisfaction consists of the item formulation established in SOEP (Richter, Metzing, Weinhardt & Schupp, 2013). The scale contains only one item with the following wording: "How satisfied are you at present, all in all, with your life". The 11 answer categories of the L-1 range from "not satisfied at all" to "completely satisfied". The name of the answer categories has been modified and thus differs from that of the SOEP.
