14th Social Survey 

Students who were enrolled at a state or state-recognised higher education institution in the Federal Republic of Germany in the summer semester of 1994 (with the exception of administrative universities of applied sciences, universities of distance learning and universities of the Federal Armed Forces)

The response rate refers to German students. In relation to domestic and foreign students together, the response rate is 30.8 %. The net sample comprises 27535 German students, 1141 domestic students and 1363 foreign students.
